Like Netflix website, this app shows you the library like a row of shelves with videotapes or DVD positioned on it. Tap the cover to see the details about a movie or a show you want to see. The page you will open contains the trailer, a description, the cast, the list of episodes, and the user rating of this show.

The built-in player is quite basic, but it lets you play and pause videos, rewind or skip, and add videos to Favorites. With any plan, you can store videos locally on your device and watch them even when offline.

The app is meant for streaming videos from Netflix, so its features are all about playing. Shows of all existing genres, from The Witcher and Stranger Things to BoJack Horseman and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, are here. Recently Netflix offers lots of great movies, both exclusive and popular in cinema.

You will not find exclusives made for other streaming platforms here (like those of Amazon, HBO, or Hulu), but instead Netflix offers hundreds of its own exclusive titles. Netflix becomes the new Hollywood, given how many great names get involved in its production.
Netflix plans include the Basic, Standard, and Premium. The basic one offers just one stream in poor quality. The Standard lets you watch two videos simultaneously in Full HD. The Premium one supports 4K (if available) on up to 4 devices.

Well, there are some insecurities and potential breaches in the Netflix website. But the app, for either iOS or Android, is free of these. So it’s quite safe with the app – at least, as safe as your password is. As you trust this app with your credit card, you must be careful to protect your access to it.
