Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V review

Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure game inviting you to join the band of three characters used to be criminals. Their past has become their present when they decided to infringe the law again. The title is full of events and sentiments typical of the post-economic crisis America.

Graphics and Sound, 10/10

GTA V is designed in a realistic manner, becoming the best of the series. The open world comes with the expanded possibilities to interact with dwellers of the fictional city looking like Los Angeles. The visuals are nice, and soundtracks are composed for the express purpose of this title.

Controls, 10/10

Here everything is well thought, and the controls are no exception. They are responsive and quite diverse. To understand them, you are suggested to follow the on-screen instructions. The shooting and driving mechanics are excellent, allowing you to benefit from this activity to the fullest extent.

Gameplay, 10/10

You will play and listen to a comic commentary, which makes the game even more engaging. Start playing from a third-person or first-person perspective – this is your choice. You can try both formats. There are three key characters, which will be involved in plenty of adventures. You can navigate any of three mates or switch between them as you like. They are completely different, that is why it will be wise to use the best peculiarity to perform a particular task. The characters are designed in a very realistic manner. They live just like real people, surfing the Internet, using smartphones, and interacting by other means. They deal with government officials, criminal underworld, and other people surviving under difficult circumstances. Be ready to fight, shoot, run, hide, and communicate. Mind that the failures in combat reduce a health meter, which can be restored.

Lasting appeal, 10/10

The game, as any open-world title, is engaging. You will play every day, diving deeper, exploring the world around. There are several modes with levels. The right solutions and success in a mission will level you up. Choose the Sandbox if you want to get the most out of the gameplay without many restrictions. Or join the other players in a multiplayer.
