Getting to Grips with Telegram's Latest App Update

Telegram, the secure messaging app, is back with another update, adding features like no-SIM sign-up, Topics 2.0, automatic messaging deletion, Anti-Spam measures, and more. This update will help users improve the way they use the app and make the user experience a little bit better.

The no-SIM sign-up feature, introduced in the December update, allows users to register without a SIM card. To do this, Telegram has partnered with Fragment, a form of blockchain-based, anonymous numbering which grants users the capacity to sign up without a phone number.

Another feature, Auto-Delete All Chats, helps users to keep their inboxes clean and clutter-free. Under this feature, calls will be set that will automatically delete all your chats after a specific time.

Topics 2.0, which was released in November for large groups, is now available for smaller groups with a hundred members or more. The feature allows admins to view chats in two different ways: View as Topics and View as Messages. It also allows up to five pinned topics to help users find relevant information quickly.

To protect its users from spammers, Telegram launched Aggressive Anti-Spam, an application that filters out spam messages in groups with over two hundred members. The app tells users that it may delete some regular messages in the process, which admins can later report in the Recent Actions section.

This Telegram update also includes a temporary QR code generation feature that allows users without a username and a hidden phone number to connect with other users quickly. The Android version of the app gets an added storage usage page that shows how much storage each chat uses. It also allows users to use the Live Location feature with third-party navigation apps.

To make its users smile, Telegram also added seven new custom emojis. These emojis can be used by all users, while a few custom emoji packs are only available for premium users only.

In conclusion, Telegram's latest app update has made a lot of its features more accessible to users. From no-SIM sign-up to Aggressive Anti-Spam, these features can allow users to enjoy the features of the app better.
